Woman Jumps in Front of Speeding Car to Save Boy

By Alex Scott

Not everyone would knowingly throw themselves in front of a speeding automobile and selflessly sacrifice their own life in order to save another, especially the life of a complete stranger. This remarkable selfless act of bravery occurred in Bridgeport, Connecticut on May 31, 2017.

The Details

Shanta Jordan is being hailed a hero after potential saving the life of a young boy who was about to be struck by an out of control car driven by Allen Pearson. At 1:30 pm the unidentified boy, believed to be about 10 years-old, was walking down Harrall Avenue with a friend. As the boys approached Junco’s Restaurant Shanta Jordan noticed the speeding vehicle quickly approaching and traveling directly into their path. Instinctively, Ms. Jordan ran into the path of the oncoming car in an attempt to shield the young man.

Video surveillance captured the entire incident. Just as Shanta Jordan stepped in front of the boy Allen Pearson drove his vehicle straight into both individuals. The force of the car’s impact was enough to strike Shanta and the young boy pinning them against the outside wall of Junco’s Restaurant. The video then shows both individuals being cared for at the scene prior to being  transported to a nearby hospital.

Both sustained serious injury but are expected to fully recover. According to a police spokesperson, the force and angle of the impact combined to cause the boy to come very close to having both legs amputated, but doctors at Yale-New Haven Hospital operated for hours and ended up saving the young man’s lower appendages. The driver, Allen Pearson, 37, was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center with unspecified injuries. He has been charged with reckless driving, failure to stop and having no insurance on the vehicle. In addition, Pearson’s 2003 Acura was not registered.

In praising Shanta Jordan’s heroic actions Bridgeport Police Chief A.J. Perez stated, “If she did not step in, the child would be in direct contact with the motor vehicle against the wall and most likely, he would have perished.” Police also commented that there were no skid marks on the street next to the accident, suggesting Pearson did not apply his brakes before the crash.

Since the harrowing accident took place media outlets all over the world have covered the story. In the coming days, and once she’s released from the hospital, state and local leaders will pay special tribute to Shanta Jordan with a ceremony at Bridgeport City Hall.

A Closer Look at the Video Footage

Below is the video surveillance footage that captured the horrific incident.

At first glance this appears to be a devastating and traumatic accident. Most people viewing this video will gasp in horror and disbelief. However, when we start to analyze the footage we begin to ask questions and notice inconsistencies.

First of all we are told that the video footage came from a local surveillance camera. This seems to be an odd location to place a surveillance camera. Why would the city of Bridgeport have a surveillance camera that angles down to a sidewalk and the side of a building? This doesn’t seem like an efficient use of taxpayers’ money. You would think the city would at least set the camera to capture a wider radius. In fact, it’s quite remarkable that the camera was positioned at just the perfect angle to capture this event. Coincidence?

As you watch the video pay close attention to the wall that Pearson’s vehicle slams into. Notice anything unusual? As the car makes impact the wall actually gives. This is suppose to be a solid concrete structure. It should not offer resistance. It’s as though the wall were made of rubber. Notice too the strange construction. Instead of being just a flat concrete or brick wall it actually looks as though it was made with some kind of panels, especially at the bottom left as you view the video. Could this be a false wall painted or manufactured to look like concrete. Was it constructed to act as a cushion for possible stunt persons to fall against without being harmed?

If you slow the video down and watch it frame-by-frame you will notice several anomalies. For instance, if you focus all your attention on the young boy you will find several frames in which he completely disappears only to reappear in the very next frame. Could this entire incident have been manipulated utilizing CGI imagery and techniques? It appears highly likely.
Lastly, still keeping our focus on the boy, you will see that the front bumper of Pearson’s vehicle makes direct contact with the young man’s head which then makes contact with the wall. Are we to believe that this young man literally had his head crushed between Pearson’s car and the wall but suffered absolutely no head trauma?! Had this actually happened the boy’s head would have likely split open do to the momentum and force of impact. However, we see no blood and no evidence of a head injury whatsoever. There was also no mention of any head injury after the boy had been taken to the hospital.

What we were told was that the young man nearly lost both legs. We were further told that had it not been for the skill of his surgeons he likely would have had both legs amputated. Watch the video again, frame by frame. The boy doesn’t appear to have suffered much impact to his legs. In fact, due to Shanta Jordan’s intervening the brunt of the car’s impact to the young man occurred to his upper body and head in particular.

Dummies Used?

Look at the photograph below and compare it to other stills from the video. Does this look like the same boy? Could they have staged this incident utilizing dummies? The body in the photograph does not look natural. It appears to be an older and different-looking individual.

Initially the the boy appeared to be Hispanic or African-American. The person in the above photo appears to be Caucasian. Recently we have had a series of staged events/attacks where the use of dummies has been applied (Paris Truck Attack/Ft. Lauderdale Airport Shooting/San Bernardino, etc.). The company known as Dapper Cadaver specializes in the construction and sale of realistic dummies for use in various settings, including first responder and mass casualty training. https://www.dappercadaver.com

Final Thoughts

With so many actual real events occurring daily throughout the United States it is a bit perplexing as to why the powers that be and the mainstream media feel the need to concoct fictional stories around a narrative of human interest subject matter. Then again, one must remember that there is always an agenda that must be followed. Therefore, if an actual story does not exist to further that agenda then they have no problem manufacturing one.

The current trend seems to be people being run over and mowed down by out-of-control vehicles. The push for automated, driverless vehicles has been heavily accelerated of late. By subconsciously implanting the idea that humans operating motor vehicles is dangerous people will be more amenable to accept the concept and implementation of the driverless car. Remember too that it is their job to also keep us in a constant state of fear while at the same time gaining our consent. It’s time to start taking some of their power away by simply saying, “No!”

something else that’s weird – EMTs would NOT pick him up as they did in the video. Period. First thing we learn in BLS. Dont move the victim unless the scene is not safe enough to remain and immobilize

You are correct, janiece. Good point. That’s just First Responder 101 – Don’t move the patient!

I think that Shanta is unaware of the car approaching. When the video is frozen with a yellow circle around Shanta, you can see that she is neither looking at the car that is about to hit her or the boy that she is allegedly trying to shield from the rapidly approaching car. It appears to me that she is looking at her electronic device in her outstretched left hand, oblivious to her surroundings.

That could very well be, Kevin. The whole thing just looks and sounds very strange.
